PURPOSE:
Peachtree Government Relations, LLC has been engaged to support DeKalb County’s government relations and strategic consulting efforts. The scope of services primarily includes, but is not limited to, developing and maintaining strategic relationships with municipal, state, regional, and governmental stakeholders; assisting the County with legislative and policy priorities before the Georgia General Assembly and other state-level entities; facilitating access to decision-makers, elected officials, public agencies, and other relevant contacts; and supporting economic development, redevelopment, Tax Allocation District, financing, and related governmental initiatives. The services also include: 1) facilitating strategic relationships and communications with DeKalb County municipalities and municipal officials; 2) identifying legislative sponsors and state contacts and facilitating introductions and meetings; 3) monitoring legislative activity and providing strategic advocacy and lobbying support; and 4) coordinating with the County’s designated representatives to support the County’s current legislative, governmental, economic develo...
