PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 9, 2025, for an amount not to exceed $82,857.00. This contract consists of the installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons on Henderson Mill Road, Evans Road, and Flowers Road. This initiative helps drivers easily see pedestrians and cyclists, preventing accidents before they happen. This request seeks approval to increase contract funds and term through March 31, 2027, to cover unanticipated work to upgrade Georgia Power infrastructure necessary to complete the project.

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
GTG Traffic Signals, LLC, 4195 JVL Industrial Park Drive, Marietta, GA 30066
Amount Not To Exceed: $11,628.49
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
