PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 14, 2026, for an amount not to exceed $441,244.00. This contract consists of the installation of two (2) new traffic signals at the intersection of Stephenson Road at Alford Road, and the intersection of Valley Brook Road at Hollywood Drive. This project improves traffic flow and makes the areas safer for the public. This request seeks approval to increase contract funds and term through November 30, 2027, due to delays in obtaining the required signal equipment. The signal equipment originally approved has since been discontinued, and the new quotes for the signal equipment increased by $5,890.69.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
R. J. Haynie and Associates, Inc., 860 B Harmony Road, Eaton, GA 31024
Amount Not To Exceed: $5,890.69
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
