PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on April 12, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $115,000.00. On March 28, 2023, the BOC approved Renewal No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $143,500.00. On April 23, 2024, the BOC approved Renewal No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $143,500.00. On April 3, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 extending the contract term through April 30, 2026 for an amount not to exceed $118,500.00. On June 23, 2026, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 ratifying a contract term increase and an increase in contract term through October 30, 2026 and funds for an amount not to exceed $25,000.00. This request seeks to ratify a contract term increase and further increases the contract term through March 31, 2027. Routine maintenance, inspection and replacement of fire extinguishers ensures that the County’s facilities are equipped with fully operational extinguishers to avert potentially catastrophic fires and maintains compliance with fire-safety laws and standards.
