For use by the Departments of Facilities Management (FM), Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs (RPCA), Fire Rescue (FR), Watershed Management (DWM) and Roads & Drainage (R&D) to obtain general contractor services for various projects throughout the County. Recommend award to the five (5) highest scoring proposers: Autaco Development, Envision Construction, LLC, Hawk Construction Company, Kissberg/Parker Fry, J.V Lichty Commercial Construction, Inc.: Total Amount Not to Exceed: $55,225,000.00.

PURPOSE:
Consists of proving general contractor services as needed for various projects and departments over a five-year (5-year) period. Scope of work includes all things necessary to provide the requested service to include personnel, labor, materials, overhead, equipment, licenses, permits, all costs (direct and indirect), administrative costs (postage, printing, copying, plotting, deliveries), research, recommendations, studies, written documents, designs, specifications, details, drawings, issuance of certificates for payment, review of documents, inspections, supervision and approval of work as necessary to accomplish assigned projects. In addition, this request seeks to authorize the transfer of funds between the contracts based on the needs of the County. Having multiple contractors allows for increased flexibility, availability and resources.
