PURPOSE:
.To consider accepting a grant award in the amount of $ 70,500.00 from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to continue providing care and supervision services to chronic truancy youth between the ages of 11 through 17 participating in the Children In Need of Services ( CHINS) program services .
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council awarded Dekalb County Juvenile Court funding for the services to youth participating in the CHINS program. CHINS serves the youth experiencing chronic truancy and school disengagement. Services include:
