PURPOSE:
To approve the rental agreements between Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance and DeKalb County Government for the use of the premises known as Retreat House and Oak Grove Junction.
NEED/IMPACT:
The department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is requesting approval from the BOC to approve rental agreements with Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance and DeKalb County Government for use of Retreat House, located at 6420 Rockdale Rd, Stonecrest, GA 30338 (parcel # 16 116 02 006), and Oak Grove Junction, located at 4434 Klondike Rd, Stonecrest, GA 30338 (parcel # 16 113 04 002). Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, connecting (sharing the powerful history), rich culture and engaging landscapes of Arabia Mountain for the benefit and enjoyment of all.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact to the County.

Recommended Action
To approve the rental agreements between Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance and DeKalb County Government for use of the facilities known as Retreat House and Oak Grove Junction and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the rental agreements.
