PURPOSE:
To allocate $45,000 of District 2 American Rescue Plan Interest (ARPI) funds to support Mirth and Mischief Dog Adoption Event
NEED/IMPACT:
This funding is needed to support a community dog adoption event in partnership with LifeLine Animal Project and Mirth and Mischief that will help reduce overcrowding at the DeKalb County Animal Shelter, increase adoptions, and connect homeless dogs with loving, permanent homes.
FISCAL IMPACT:
An amount not to exceed $45,000 from District 2 American Rescue Plan Interest (00202.582206.100.000.0000)
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the allocation and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or her designee to execute all necessary documents.
