PURPOSE:
Consists of the one (1) time lease buyout of the Cisco UCS 2075‑002 and NetApp All‑Flash 8040 Controller 2075‑001 equipment actively in use within the County’s IT production environment and is essential for ongoing County operations. The County began leasing this equipment in 2024 administered by Computacenter United States, Inc., for the benefit of Tech. Finance Co., LLC (TFC). Because TFC retained ownership of said equipment, no other vendor could provide a lease or purchase quote. There is currently no cooperative agreement or alternative contract vehicle that would allow the County to lease or purchase the same equipment from other sources. On August 28, 2026, Purchase Order No. 5088977 was issued through a sole source buyout to maintain operational continuity, prevent service disruptions, and avoid significant downtime if said equipment were returned and replacement hardware sourced, procured, installed, and configured.
