PURPOSE:

Consists of providing sanitary sewer chemical root control for the sanitary sewer system as part of the Consent Decree’s Maintenance Management System (MMS). As part of the MMS requirements, sanitary sewer chemical root control inspections are to be performed on an ongoing basis within the wastewater collection and treatment system. Maintenance of root control is an effective tool to prevent the sanitary sewer from polluting nearby water sources. Root control enables DWM to monitor the assets and schedule maintenance and rehabilitation activites.  Three (3) bids were received.
