PURPOSE:

The County has been utilizing various modules of this proprietary software since 2004.  This contract consists of the implementation, and maintenance of the upgraded Police Priority Dispatch System (PPDS) to include License Renewal, Service & Support, ProQA Police and Backup Software Licenses, Remote ProQA & AQUA Reports Training, System Administration Training Remote, AQUA Case Review Software, Protocol Tablet, Training and Certification, Implementation Support Package and IAED Accreditation Application Fee. It also includes Q-Plus a new module for expert case review and reporting and continued maintenance and support of current ProQA licenses. This system is necessary for protocol of public safety calls through E911 for routing and responding to Citizens for life saving instructions and public safety. This request will allow for a five (5) year master agreement that is all inclusive of the current emergency call services resulting in one annual payment per Department.

This request seeks to ratify the multiyear contract for previously provided services effective February 8, 2023. This request also seeks approval to continue services through December 31, 2028.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval to ratify previously provided services and continue services on Contract No. 1373720 with:

Amount Not To Exceed: $1,560,878.44

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contract and all associated documents
