PURPOSE:
Awarded on February 17, 2024 for an amount not to exceed $98,000.00. This contract consists of State certified and tested KNOWiNK Poll Pad system consisting of Apple iPad, Stand components including the base, arm, sled and ID tray, Voter Card Encoder, and Thermal Printer. KNOWiNK is a mandated vendor that offers election management tools that allows jurisdictions to see voter turnout in real-time, monitor the status of Poll Pads, and remotely lock or disable a Poll Pad if there is a security issue at a polling site. This purchase is required for the 2025 Special Elections, Special Election Runoffs, Special Primary Public Service Commissioner/Runoff and Municipal General/Special Election Runoff. This request seeks approval to ratify previously provided sixty (60) day contract term increase, effective, January 1, 2025. This request also seeks to increase contract funds and contract term through December 31, 2025.
