PURPOSE:

Awarded  by the BOC on January 25, 2022, to five (5) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $5,299,736.80.  This contract consists of providing on call architect and engineering services for a variety of planning, design and construction projects for the County.  This request is to increase the contract for conceptual plans and renderings for Fire Stations 18, 19 and 20.  This request also seeks to increase the contract term through December 31, 2028 for project completion.  This request further seeks a Consent to Assignment due to a name change from Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects to POH+W Architects, LTD.  

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:

 

POH+W Architects, LTD., 3000 Royal Blvd. S., Alpharetta, GA 30022

 

Amount Not To Exceed: $100,000.00

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
