PURPOSE:

Consists of purchasing from the competitively let GSA, MAS Contract No. GS-35F-0119W to obtain annual license subscriptions for all Red Hat Ansible products utilized throughout the County. DoIT uses the Ansible Automation product to automate system administration tasks such as the creation of new employee accounts in association with the CV360 human resources system. Automation performs necessary actions using scripts and processes to ensure efficient, consistent operations and reduce the potential for human error when working within County business systems. This purchase also includes immediate automated responses to security events, eliminating delays. These services are required to ensure the County can continue to operate automated workflows, maintain Linux server security, and provide technical training for staff.
