PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 8, 2020, for an amount not to exceed $1,168,231.00. On March 9, 2021, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $400,000.00. On December 7, 2021, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $7,656,700.00. On August 16, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 for an amount not to exceed $50,000.00. On December 9, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 for an amount not to exceed $1,914,175.00. This contract consists of providing environmental monitoring services, and GCCS, operations and maintenance services related to municipal solid waste at the Seminole Road Landfill. The operations and maintenance of the GCCS is on a regularly scheduled basis in order to satisfy all related compliance requirements and to provide on-call services for contingency and supplemental sampling. This request seeks to increase the contract’s term through December 31, 2027, and funds for continued regulatory compliance monitoring and reporting services for the County.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 5 with:
Geosyntec Consultants, Inc., 1255 Roberts Boulevard NW, Suite 200. Kennesaw, GA 30144
Amount Not to Exceed: $2,868,379.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
