PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on August 14, 2018 for amount not to exceed $3,961,915.00. On December 10, 2019, the BOC increased the scope of work to allow for the substitution of two (2) Danfoss VFD pumps with the purchase of two (2) Allen Bradley VFD pumps and funding by an amount not to exceed $99,482.27. This request will allow the manufacturer the needed time to build a new pump impeller, install the pump impeller in an awaiting vertical turbine pump, and test the assembled vertical turbine pump. Delays occurred in vertical turbine pump production due to COVID-19 and will increase due to additional pump impeller manufacturing. Approval of this request will assist in the continued maintenance and improvement efforts at the Scott Candler Water Treatment Plant.
