PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on November 12, 2019 due to a Consent to Assignment between Wells Fargo Bank and Remitco LLC for an amount not to exceed $216,000.00. On December 21, 2021, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2022, and funding in an amount not to exceed $125,000.00. On December 13, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2023, and funding for an amount not to exceed $125,000.00. On December 19, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2024, and funding for an amount not to exceed $167,945.00. On February 11, 2025 the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 to extend the term through December 31, 2025 and increase funding for an amount not to exceed $134,000.00. This contract consists of the provision of lockbox services. This request seeks to ratify a previously provided contract term increase. This request also seeks to increase contract funds and contract term through December 31, 2026 to allow the County’s financial operations to continue and to coincide with the contract term for the Banking and Financial Services contract. The contract extension provides continued access to established lockbox services that support timely payment processing, reduce manual workload, and minimize financial risks, delivering consistent value to the County.

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 5 with:

 

Deluxe Corporation dba Remitco LLC, 400 Westwood Dr., Suite 100, Wasusau, WI 54401

 

Amount Not To Exceed: $96,200.00

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated

documents.
