PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on April 12, 2016, for an amount not to exceed $8,808,405.02. On November 13, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to add funding for an amount not to exceed $520,560.00 for CAD interfaces and enhancements to directly connect with dispatch and 125 Inform Mobile Base licenses that will provide increase coverage for SPLOST equipment in Police Services and Fire Rescue vehicles. On June 25, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to add funding not to exceed $57,644.00 for CAD interfaces and enhancements to include the Field Ops component and Inform CAD archive server and software, inclusive of annual maintenance and support costs. On January 14, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to add funding not to exceed $155,393.00 for the upgrade of the CAD system to add Inform Mobile Text to Speech and Voice Commands which allows for the transmittal of records to the vehicle from the State entity verbally while also uploading the data to the ticketing software. On December 8, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 to add funding not to exceed $38,220.00 to provide annual support for ArcServe High Availability software (covering 4 servers) throughout the remainder of contract term for the CAD System. On July 12, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 5 to add additional funding not to exceed $142,706.83 to provide annual support to 100 subscriptions of Field Ops for Fire/EMS and their “First In” Station Alerting system over life of the contract. On October 25, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 6 to add funding in an amount not to exceed $14,060.48 that will allow the E-911 Communications Center to integrate with Rapid SOS software that will give call-takers access to a data base that provides access to real time location data from citizens’ smart phones, making it easier to pinpoint where the caller is located. On May 9, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No.7 for the rescission of the award of Change Order No. 3, for an amount not to exceed $155,393.00 for the Inform Mobile Text-to-Speech and Voice Commands module that has been declared obsolete and replaced with the updated CAD Text-to-Speech module for an amount not to exceed $7,410.00. In addition, requested approval of the Rapid IOS module for an amount not to exceed $3,900.00 which would put up locations of the callers; and assist in the implementation of CAD interface for Fire Rescue for an amount not to exceed $85,637.93.

This request is to add an interface from DeKalb CAD to AMR Imagetrend Record Management System to increase accuracy of patient care records management for an amount not to exceed $32,047.60 and include the annual support costs for the Rapid IOS interface for an amount not to exceed $14,313.61.

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 8 with:
