PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on September 11, 2018, for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. On August 27, 2019, the BOC approved the 1st renewal for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. On September 22, 2020, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. On June 22, 2021, the BOC approved the 3rd renewal for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. On December 14, 2021, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract term through September 30, 2023, and funds in an amount not to exceed $1,850,000.00. On August 8, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2024, and funds in an amount not to exceed $1,900,000.00. This request seeks to increase the contract term only through April 30, 2025, to allow time to complete the RFP process and execute a new contract.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:

 

Stearns Conrad and Schmidt Consulting, Inc., dba SCS Engineers, 3175 Satellite Blvd., Suite 100, Duluth, GA  30096

 

CONTRACT TERM INCREASE ONLY

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
