PURPOSE:
To appropriate $43,800.00 of District 6 Reserve for Appropriations to Nicole Sage, Sage PR Consulting, for event development, production logistics, and community outreach FY2026 Shakespeare On The Green-Community Arts and Education series.
NEED/IMPACT:
In 2025 Commissioner Terry partnered with the City of Avondale Estates to launch this pilot which consisted of 3, Fall productions with the assistance and expertise of Sage PR. This District 6 allocation to Nicole Sage, Sage Pr provides the FY2026 services for Shakespeare on the Green event development, production logistics, and community outreach for the delivery of 6 recurring live Shakespeare performance events during the Spring and Fall.
This effort stands as both a proof of concept and a launching point for future cultural programming countywide. It highlights a partnership of capacity to lead, build partnerships, navigate logistics, and create meaningful, sustainable community experiences through public-private collaboration.

Increase appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below: District 6 Reserves

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the allocation of $43,800.00 from the 2026 District 6 Reserve for Appropriation to Nicole Sage, Sage PR Consulting for event development, production, and outreach FY2026 Shakespeare On The Green Community Arts and Education Series and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or her designee to execute all necessary documents.
