PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on July 14, 2020 to three vendors in a total amount not to exceed $61,303,359.45. On January 10, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for Contracts Nos. 1201901 and 1201898 to calculate and pay additional cost impacts incurred due to market supply chain issues; using existing funds and based upon the Engineering News Record - Construction Cost Index (ENR-CCI). This request also amended and allowed for the use of the existing Owners Allowance line item to pay for these additional cost impacts with existing funds. On March 14, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for Contract Nos. 1201901 and 1201898 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2024 and provided for a total lump sum payment of $1,084,697.00 from the Owners Allowance, based on the utilization of the ENR-CCI. On July 9, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to increase the scope of work, contract funds in amount not to exceed $15,271,478.64, and contract term through December 31, 2026. This contract consists primarily of providing sanitary sewer renewal, rehabilitation, and associated work such as CIPP lining and point repairs; pipe replacement; CCTV inspections to verify install; and manhole cleaning, location rehabilitation, and replacement. This request seeks to increase funds for failing sewer creek crossings, sewer realignments, upsizing of existing pipelines, and jack and bore scope. Approval will assist in the continued completion of infrastructure improvements and a reduction in sanitary answer overflows around the County.
