PURPOSE:

On October 8, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 Emergency Purchase for an amount not to exceed $130,000.00.  On January 14, 2025, the BOC Approved Change Order No. 2 to ratify previously provided forty-five (45) day contract term increase, effective January 1, 2025.  This request also sought approval to increase the contract term through December 31, 2025, to continue services for the election cycles.  This contract consists of renting 26-foot lift-gate trucks and other vehicles specifically to transport voting equipment and materials to various polling sites for the 2026 Gubernatorial/Midterm election cycles to supplement delivery and pick up activities. These resources are essential to maintaining uninterrupted elections operations, mitigating logistical risk, and ensuring timely and secure deployment of voting equipment countywide.  This request seeks approval to ratify previously provided contract term increase.  This request also seeks approval to increase the contract funds and contract term through December 31, 2026, to continue services for the 2026 election cycle.
