PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on December 10, 2019 for an amount not to exceed $2,400,000.00. On January 14, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2025. The County must preserve the warranty of its towers, modems and other Motorola Communications equipment purchased under the contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc. by utilizing a certified Motorola Service Elite Specialist to service and maintain this equipment. The County has utilized this equipment since 2004. This request seeks to add PW-Sanitation to the contract and increase funds in support of this addition. This contract will assist PW-Sanitation in the maintenance and repair services on mounted two-way radios in garbage trucks and handheld radios.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:

 

Mobile Communications America, Inc., 2241 Tucker Industrial Road, Tucker, GA 30084

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
