PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on April 27, 2021, to two vendors for a total amount not to exceed $175,000.00. On April 26, 2022, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for a total amount not to exceed $175,000.00. On April 25, 2023, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for Contract No. 1251271 for an amount not to exceed $175,000.00. On April 23, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for Contract No. 1251271 to extend the contract term through December 31, 2024 for an amount not to exceed $30,000.00. On January 14, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 extending the contract through December 31, 2025 and adding funds for an amount not to exceed $425,000.00.  This contract consists of providing preventive maintenance, repair, emergency and upgrade services for the UPS systems. This request seeks to ratify a previously provided contract term increase. This request also seeks to increase the contract term through June 30, 2026, to allow time for the completion of the current procurement process. This contract ensures that the generators utilized for 911 services are functioning without interruption.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:

 

AC & DC Power Technologies LLC, 5195 Southridge Parkway, College Park, GA 30349

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
