PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on March 8, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $1,200,000.00. On November 10, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract term to December 31, 2026. This contract consists of conducting flood studies and mapping to identify both existing and future land-use and floodplains conditions as required by the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District. This request will allow the contractor to continue providing floodplain analysis and studies needed to maintain County compliance with FEMA and Georgia EPD requirements. The contract term increase will also support updates to floodplain maps, address flooding concerns, and assist with the FEMA Flood Buyout Program.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
Dewberry Engineers, Inc., 2835 Brandywine Road, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30341
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change orders and all associated documents
