PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on June 22, 2021, for an amount not to exceed $572,180.00. On December 13, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract term through July 31, 2023. On December 12, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to ratify a previously provided contract term increase and increase the contract funds, scope of services and term through December 31, 2024, for an amount not to exceed $714,760.00. On October 22, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2025, and to add certified LSBE-DeKalb vendor - Accura Engineering and Consulting Services Inc. This request seeks to increase the contract funds, scope of services and term through June 30, 2027. The extension will allow the contractor time to shore up and complete current stormwater master planning tasks to include the approved additional tasks. The contract also received approval to switch billing to hourly rates. It also experienced a lag in startup of project work due to its contract execution during the pandemic period.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 4 with:

Amount Not To Exceed: $1,175,500.00

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change orders and all associated documents
