PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 13, 2023, to four vendors for a total amount not to exceed $3,325,000.00. This contract consists of the cutting, cleaning, spraying and repair/maintenance of stormwater retention and detention ponds. Following the contract notice to proceed, Ed Castro Landscape, Inc., requested that all contract rights be assigned to Mariani Enterprises, LLC dba Ed Castro Landscape. This request seeks consent to assign the contract with Ed Castro Landscape, Inc., and its remaining funds and term, to Mariani Enterprises LLC dba Ed Castro Landscape. There will be no additional change in contract terms or conditions.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 Consent to Assignment of contract to:
Mariani Enterprises, LLC dba Ed Castro Landscape, 300 Rockland Road, Lake Bluff, IL 60044
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the consent to assignment and all associated documents.
