PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 28, 2021 for an amount not to exceed $12,087,102.82. On September 27, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $2,051,888.86 to cover increases in costs of labor and materials. On March 14, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to increase the scope of work, contract term, and contract funds for an amount not to exceed $966,056.76. This contract consists of patching, milling, and resurfacing of County Roads. There have continued to be weather delays affecting the Contractor’s performance time. As a result, this request seeks to increase the contract term through August 31, 2024.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:
HEH Paving, Inc., 3384 Almand Road, Atlanta, GA 30316
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
