PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on September 28, 2021, for an amount not to exceed $12,087,102.82. On September 27, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $2,051,888.86 to cover increases in costs of labor and materials. On March 14, 2023, the BOC approved Changed Order No. 2 to increase the scope of work, contract term, and contract funds for an amount not to exceed $966,056.76. On November 8, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to increase the contract term to August 31, 2024. This contract consists of patching, milling, and resurfacing of County Roads. This request seeks to increase the scope of work, contract funds and term through December 31, 2024. These contract increases will allow the contractor to complete added quantities and striping to the contracted road list. This contract’s overall work schedule has been impacted by days lost as a result of rainy and/or hot weather.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 4 with:
HEH Paving, Inc., 3384 Almand Road, Atlanta, GA 30316
Amount Not To Exceed: $1,099,965.84
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated
documents.
