Consists of the provision of the PROSECUTORbyKarpel® (PbK) case management system including installation, companion services and annual subscription. This purchase allows for the additional sharing of digital evidence and case information between agencies, as well integration with several of the County’s law enforcement databases to leverage previously entered witness information. This request seeks to ratify previously provided services and seeks approval to establish a two (2) year agreement for continued operations of case management system services. PURPOSE:
Consists of the purchase of the PbK case management system including installation, companion services and annual subscription. These services also include software updates, custom modifications, or upgrades for functionality improvements and bug fixes. Karpel Solutions is the sole provider of these proprietary software services and is the only provider to maintain, develop and support this specific case management software in a sole capacity. Failure to approve this sole-source purchase would significantly impair the Solicitor-General’s Office’s ability to meet its State constitutionally mandated obligations, statutory victim support requirements, and public safety responsibilities efficiently and lawfully. This request seeks to ratify previously provided services and seeks approval to establish a two (2) year agreement for continued operations of case management system services.
