PURPOSE:
Change Order No. 1 for commercial movers with a 26 Ft. lift gate truck to transport election equipment and materials to polling sites for the 2024 Primary Election, Run-off Election and General Election cycles. Given legal requirements and County citizens right to vote, the services are essential to ensure that polling sites are prepared, equipped and ready for DeKalb citizens. Failure to approve these emergency requests would result in the County not meeting legal requirements and interrupt essential government services. This request seeks to ratify previously provided services and seeks approval to continue services through December 31, 2024.
