PURPOSE:
To accept a $35,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at Springbrook Park; allocate $19,362.50 from District 2 2001 Park Bond account 100592.80314.541100.05.600010; allocate $19,362.50 from District 6 Reserve for Appropriations account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000; and setup new Springbrook Park project in RPCA grants organization.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant is designated for the installation of garden beds and irrigation at Springbrook Park. The garden beds will provide additional recreational opportunity for the surrounding community. The total project budget is $86,750 and is funded by:
Park Pride Grant $35,000.00
District 2 2001 Parks Bond $19,362.50
District 6 Reserve for Appropriations $19,362.50
Friends of Springbrook Park/J. Mosely In-Kind $13,025.00

To accept a $35,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at Springbrook Park; allocate $19,362.50 from District 2 2001 Park Bond account 100592.80314.541100.05.600010; allocate $19,362.50 from District 6 Reserve for Appropriations account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000; and setup new Springbrook Park project in RPCA grants organization: and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
