CO - Change Order No. 3 to Contract 1191296 Motorola Radio Equipment, Installation, Maintenance, Repairs and Removal Services for DeKalb County Vehicles (Sole Source): for use by Police Services (PS) and Public Works - Sanitation and other County departments. This contract consists of radio repairs and the installation and removal of equipment in County vehicles with Motorola radios. This request seeks to increase the contract term. Awarded to Mobile Communications America, Inc. CONTRACT TERM INCREASE ONLY.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 10, 2019 for an amount not to exceed $2,400,000.00. On January 14, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract term through December 31, 2025. On February 11, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 adding the Department of Public Works - Sanitation and increasing the contract funds in the amount of $10,000.00. The County must preserve the warranty of its towers, modems and other Motorola Communications equipment purchased under the contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc. by utilizing a certified Motorola Service Elite Specialist to service and maintain this equipment. The County has utilized this equipment since 2004. This request is to increase the contract term through March 31, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:
Mobile Communications America, Inc., 2241 Tucker Industrial Road, Tucker, GA 30084
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
