PURPOSE:

Awarded by the Board of Commissioners (BOC) on April 28, 2020, to two (2) vendors for an amount not to exceed of $4,900,000.00. On November 8, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase funding for an amount not to exceed $2,450,000.00. On October 10, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to increase funding for an amount not to exceed $3,480,000.00. This contract consists of providing construction management services for various gravity sewer collection system rehabilitation and replacement projects. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: pre-construction services, construction inspection services, management of meetings, production of progress reports, provision of on-site field inspectors to monitor contractor work, and will require full-time dedication of the construction management teams. This request seeks to increase the contract term and will allow the County to address the ongoing need for construction management services associated with the CD-GSRR construction work and maintaining the County’s compliance with the Consent Decree.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:

 

Benchmark Management, LLC, 101 Marietta Street NW, Suite 2000, Atlanta, GA 30303

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change orders and all associated documents.
