PURPOSE:
Consists of purchasing from the competitively let SWC No. 99999-SPD-SPD0000219-0010 for the annual subscription to and technical support for the Palo Alto Networks software utilized throughout the County. The County’s Palo Alto Networks software deployment is strategically designed to: (1) secure internet ingress and egress traffic at the data center level; (2) enforce network segmentation to limit lateral movement and reduce breach impact; (3) protect mission-critical applications, user traffic, and sensitive data; and (4) provide real-time visibility and threat prevention across the County’s network. These firewalls operate as critical infrastructure components and require continuous support and maintenance services to function as intended. This purchase includes access to firmware and software updates as needed. MGT is an authorized reseller of Palo Alto products and services.
