PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on April 14, 2026, for an amount not to exceed $100,000.00. Consists of mowing and maintenance services at various County abatement locations, including 79 residential lots, 14 medians and traffic islands, 30 FEMA lots and 1 In-Rem lot. This request seeks to rescind the previous award made on April 14, 2026, under Agenda Item No. 2026-0413. This request results from assessments of current service delivery for abatement properties. Since the contract was awarded, the contractor has experienced challenges in meeting scheduled mowing and maintenance cycles for approximately 124 abatement properties. Following discussions and efforts made with the contractor, it was agreed that the contractor will not continue servicing the abatement properties at this time. To maintain continuity of service, mowing and maintenance services for these properties will be performed internally for the remainder of the mowing season.

2. Justification: Contractor has experienced challenges in meeting the contractual obligations of the project, despite efforts made to resolve. Due to this, recission of award is being requested.
