PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on June 22, 2021, for an amount not to exceed $4,159,861.50. On April 26, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $25,000.00 for funding to replace cameras as needed. On October 25, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $156,209.26 for funding to purchase BodyWorn™ Body Camera Systems for Animal Enforcement Officers. On August 8, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 for an amount not to exceed $113,000.00 to complete the upgrade of RiOT devices by Utility’s personnel to maintain the hardware warranty under this contract. This contract consists of the purchase of BodyWorn™ Comprehensive Camera Systems and supporting hardware and software accessories.  This request seeks to ratify the additional purchases of the BodyWorn™ Camera Systems for Police and Marshal services and an increase in scope to provide alterations to uniforms to fit the cameras.

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
