PURPOSE:
Consists of the replacement of fifty (50) plus year old concrete panels inside the Keel (center 50ft.) of Runway 3R-21L and some selected panels outside the Keel such as Taxiway Alpha between Runway 21L and connecting Taxiway Juliet. Work under this schedule will follow the necessary requirements and standards set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which includes full-depth pavement replacement, recycled concrete base course and subgrade repairs as needed, runway profile correction, grading and drainage improvements, lighting replacement and adjustments, as well as erosion control. Two (2) bids were received.
