This contract consists of upgrading the existing lighting systems from incandescent (quartz) to light-emitting diode (LED) systems at the PDK Airport. This request seeks to increase the contract’s scope of work for the construction of the Airfield Electrical Vault building improvements, including upgrading the Helipad’s lighting systems to LED. PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on May 28, 2024, for an amount not to exceed: $2,231,910.00. On January 14, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract’s term to July 31, 2025, using remaining funds. This contract consists of upgrading the existing lighting systems from incandescent (quartz) to light-emitting diode (LED) systems at the PDK Airport. This request seeks to increase the contract’s scope of work for the construction of the Airfield Electrical Vault building improvements, including upgrading the Helipad’s lighting systems to LED. It also seeks to increase the contract’s term through December 31, 2025, and funding.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
Trinity Electrical Services, Inc., 2317 Golden Isles West, Baxley, GA 31513
Amount Not To Exceed: $208,315.85
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
