PURPOSE:
Awarded on April 30, 2025, for an amount not to exceed $80,000.00. This contract consists of consultant services to develop improvements and efficiencies to the existing traffic calming program, incorporate new technologies, and identify additional traffic calming measures for DeKalb County. This initiative will strengthen and expand the County’s existing traffic calming program, supporting safer roads, and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents and the community. This request seeks increase in contract term through March 31, 2027 and ratifying previous term increase due to a sudden, unavoidable conflict that affected staff availability to review the necessary documents.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
ATLAS Technical Consultants, 2450 Commerce Avenue, Suite 100, Duluth, GA 30096
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
