PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on February 28, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $348,500.00. On August 13, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 which increased the scope of work to allow for additional design for a subsection of the Stone Mountain trail, funds, and term through December 31, 2024 and ratified a previously provided contract term increase, for an amount not to exceed $249,800.00. On December 17, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 extending the contract term through April 30, 2025. On April 22, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 extending the contract term through August 31, 2025. This contract consists of providing professional planning services, to include the creation of a comprehensive master plan that will incorporate expansion and creation of future greenways within the County’s existing network of over 33 miles of greenways. The planned network will connect communities and provide recreational opportunities, alternate transportation options, as well as boost local economy for patrons of the County. This request seeks to ratify a previously provided contract term increase. This request seeks to extend the contract term through December 31, 2025.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 4 with:

 

Toole Design Group, LLC, 8484 Georgia Avenue, Suite 800, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910

 

and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated

documents.
