RFP - Request for Proposals No. 17-500472 Design Build Services for Scott Candler Water Treatment Plant - High Services Pump Station (HSPS) Header & Transfer Pumps Replacement: for use by the Department of Watershed Management (DWM). Consists of providing the design and construction services to remove and replace the transfer pump station’s main intake header, which is showing severe signs of corrosion, and to include the removal and replacement of four (4) small transfer pumps with two (2) large transfer pumps. Recommend award to the sole proposer, who is responsive and responsible: Reeves Young, LLC. Amount Not To Exceed: $3,961,915.00.

PURPOSE:
Consists of providing the design and construction services to remove and replace the Scott Candler Water Treatment Plant HSPS No. 1 existing main intake header, which is showing severe signs of corrosion. Services also include, the removal of four (4) small 5,000 gallons per minute (gmp) axial transfer pumps and replacing them with two (2) large 15,500 Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) transfer pumps to increase the efficiency and capacity of the water distribution system. One (1) proposal was received.
