PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 23, 2024 to three (3) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $3,625,046.00 and authorized transfers between the contracts based on the needs of the County. On July 22, 2025, the BOC approved the first renewal option to three (3) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $3,025,000.00. On April 28, 2026, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. 1384963 and Change Order No. 1 to Contract Nos.: 1384581 and 1384955 for the replacement or repair of systems at the following Health Facilities: North DeKalb Comprehensive Health Center, East DeKalb Health Center, EL Richardson Health Building, TO Vinson Health Center, DeKalb Crisis Center, Kirkwood Mental Health, Fox Recovery and Clifton Springs Health Center for an amount not to exceed $1,458,043.70.: On July 14, 2026, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option through July 31, 2027 and sought a Consent to Assignment of Contract 1384955 and all remaining contract funds with no change in terms or conditions from Galgon HVAC Mechanical Services, Inc. to Maxair Mechanical, LLC. These contracts consist of providing On Call HVAC services for County-owned properties. This request seeks to increase contract funds utilizing SPLOST for upgrades at the Judicial Tower. These upgrades will provide for improved air quality and comfort for workers and visitors.
