PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on February 28, 2023, in part to Yancey Brothers Company for an estimated amount of $530,000.00. These contracts consist of the rental of various heavy equipment. A contract with Yancey Brothers Company did not advance after the company stated they could not provide the equipment at the initial prices submitted due to their price increases. Yancy Brothers Company declined to submit a price increase request or to move forward with completing post award requirements. This request seeks to rescind the award with Yancey Brothers Company and re-award to H&E Equipment Services, Inc., Herc Rentals, Inc., and Sunbelt Rentals, Inc.
