This contract consist of the provision of services and products pertaining to the reconstruction, rehabilitation or cleaning of pipelines, tubes, conduits or culverts by means of trenchless technology. This request seeks to extend the contract term through June 30, 2026. Awarded to Vortex Services, LLC. CONTRACT TERM EXTENSION ONLY.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 25, 2024 for an amount not to exceed $7,454,315.44. This contract consists of the provision of services and products pertaining to the reconstruction, rehabilitation, or cleaning of pipelines, tubes, conduits, or culverts by means of trenchless technology. Change Order No. 1, In House Award, approved on July 3, 2025 extended the contract performance time by 226 days to allow continuance of sanitary assessments and cleaning services. This request seeks to increase the contract term to June 30, 2026 to allow the contractor the necessary time to complete and submit all data reports and respond to comments submitted by DWM.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
Vortex Services, LLC, 18150 Imperial Valley Drive, Houston, TX 77060
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
