PURPOSE:
To Allocate an Amount Not to Exceed $5,000 to 100 Black Men of DeKalb (BMOD) from the District 3 Reserved for Appropriation Fund to the 100 BMOD The Legacy Is Not Extinct; The Future Is Alive Youth Program.
NEED/IMPACT:
The 100 BMOD’s “The Legacy Is Not Extinct; The Future Is Alive” youth programming is an important investment in empowering young people and strengthening the future of the community. This initiative provides meaningful opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills, build confidence, mentorship, college/career readiness and engage in positive, forward-looking activities that reinforce cultural pride and personal growth.

Increase appropriations for the following account by the amounts indicated below:

Recommended Action
To approve the allocation of $5,000.00 from the District 3 Reserve for Appropriation and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or her designee to execute all necessary documents.
