Awarded by the BOC on May 2, 2017 for an amount not to exceed $7,170,300.00. On August 1, 2019, Change Order No. 1 was approved to increase the contract performance time by 123 days. 1,378 tons of compacted solids were found in out of service lines. The out of service sewer lines, totaling approximately 4,000 linear feet, started at Dolittle and Shoal Creek Basins (between Flat Shoals Parkway and Waldrop Road) and ended at the Snapfinger Wastewater Treatment Plant (Snapfinger Basin). The out of service lines prohibited new sewer connections, limiting economic growth in the area. By cleaning and restoring out of service sewer lines, the County saved approximately $2.4 million in construction value versus replacing pipe.
