PURPOSE:
Authorize the acceptance of Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contract for costs associated with Airport Perimeter Fencing Replacement; Rehabilitate Taxiway K; Design; And Relocate Taxiway G Design at The Peachtree DeKalb Airport.
NEED/IMPACT:
Authorization is needed to accept a GDOT contract for costs associated with the replacement of Airport Perimeter Fencing. The funding assistance provides for improvements to sustain continued safety on the Airport.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The GDOT contract for costs includes a total estimated cost of $2,403,521.40 of which $1,802,641.05 will be state funds and $600,880.35 will be a local match. The cost to the County is $600,880.35.
