PURPOSE:

To Approve a District 6 allocation not to exceed $33,500 for continued focus on Donzi/Intrenchment Creek and the entire South River Greenway, Micromobility Education and Sustainable Urban Planning and Policy, Data Center and other Energy/Water/Recycling/Composting, Land preservation, Affordable Housing, Parks, Trails and other policy initiatives at the direction of the Commissioner.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

Walter Brown, DBA Bright Sun Community Solutions, LLC, has consulted on the behalf of Super District 6 related initiatives, projects, and to assist with constituent concerns by providing research and advice on process and policy recommendations to move project needs forward on and off for the past few years.  This 2026 proposal fall in line with Commissioner Terry’s initiatives and target specific identified areas that he will assist with from March to December 2026.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

An amount not to exceed $33,500.00 to the Bright Sun Community Solutions from-Board of Commissioners - District 6 00206.521209.100.000.0000

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve the allocation not to exceed $33,500.00 from the District 6 operating budget to the Bright Sun Community Solution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or her designee to execute all the necessary documents.
