The trail is an important part of a bike-pedestrian corridor allowing for the future regional connection from the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Rockdale County to the Atlanta Beltline. The purpose of this study is to develop safe and cost-effective ways to connect the existing trail segments and to study the feasibility of alternatives. Project deliverables will include an implementation plan for recommended improvements and a GDOT concept report. The concept report will assist in seeking additional state and federal funding.
FISCAL IMPACT:
SPLOST funds in the amount of $50,000 will cover the matching cost for this project.
